Kitchener, Ontario (PRWEB) May 26, 2007 -- Athena Software advises that it has been appointed to provide Penelope human services web based integrated case management solution as one of the core technology platforms for a Human Services Management initiative in the United Kingdom.
The initiative will be operated by Relate, the relationship support agency, and will provide a shared human services management platform across their offices throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Relate is the United Kingdom's largest provider of relationship counseling and sex therapy with over 150,000 clients served in 2006 at over 600 locations - as well as via the telephone and online.
Athena Software will be integrated with Hyro's Access Point and will provide the necessary systems and infrastructure to support the management of cases across multiple agencies and non-government human
services providers. The solution is anticipated to be deployed in the fall of 2007.
This appointment is a significant milestone as we continue to expand and support web based case management clients using Athena Software in United Kingdom markets. This appointment leverages Athena Software's success in similar initiatives in North America, the Carribean, Ireland, Greece and Australia and was won through an international competitive bid process.
The engagement will provide initial licensing and services revenue to Athena Software and then ongoing support, maintenance and incremental project revenues.
